Gunthar

Gunthar was one of the unfortunate aliens that Moff Sarne kept as a gladiator for his amusement. He is a large alien from an unknown species covered mostly with reptilian skin, but he has large clumps of hair growing from his shoulders, head, neck and back. He also has a short, stubby tail that he uses for balance. His large, dark eyes and mouth full of blunt teeth give him a look of innocence. Several scars from his battles in Sarne's arena show on his body.

Although he is not very intelligent, Gunthar has a way of determining people's feelings and attitudes - even when the person in question is not aware of them or is not showing them. He can tell the difference between "good" people (those that show kindness to him and his friends) and "bad" people. He knows a few simple, one-syllable words of Basic, but he speaks no other verbal language.

Regardless of whatever else is going on, Gunthar's primary concern is to go home. Nobody knows where it is, but it is suspected that his homeworld lies somewhere within the unknown regions of the Kathol sector. He does help around the ship by providing protection on planetside missions and moving heavy machinery and parts while aboard ship.

Of everyone on the Farstar, his closest friend is probably Qesya Vth'naar, another former gladiator of Moff Sarne's.
