Scoryn

Scoryn is a woman embittered by her life. Her face, once considered pretty but now weathered and rough, does not broadcast her feelings but remains stoic. Her black hair is streaked with gray and usually tied back in a tail or braided.

Scoryn was hired to help keep order with the crew in the ship's close quarters, and she fits the bill perfectly. She has few, if any, personal attachments to the crew and is an avid supporter of order aboard ship and in tactical situations. Gorak Khzam uses her to help keep the peace among the crew and considers her the closest thing to a security patrol.

Although she keeps it secret, Scoryn's true reason behind joining the Farstar's crew is to avoid the bounty hunters hired to capture her. Why they seek her is due to a mutiny she led against a crimelord with fellow slaves while enslaved to him. At first, Kal'Shebbol seemed like a good place to hide out, but a lack of means to move freely through the galaxy prompted her to join the crew of the Farstar.

Even though she keeps herself detached from the crew, she has a strange loyalty to Gorak Khzam. At the same time, Gorak respects her. Why the two feel this way toward each other is another of the ship's many mysteries.
